Regarding Lady Blah Blahs perfume
The perfume, named Fame, is coloured a deep red to resemble blood, and comes in an ampule-like bottle with a heavy silver lid. The box is black with gold script, with a description of the scent on the back.Instead of the rumoured smell of ‘blood and semen’, it reads: ‘Tears of Belladonna, crushed heart of tiger orchidea, with a black veil of incense, pulverized apricot, and the combinative essences of saffron and honey drops. Beneath that is added: ‘It’s black, like the soul of fame’.The pop star tweeted: ‘And here it is! The first official photograph of my perfume. It’s called FAME. The First Ever Black Eau De Parfum.
Because fragrance is one of the only things in the world that I take seriously, I have to point out that while the description sounds like a Clan of Xymox song, Belladonna doesn’t have much of a smell. Datura is the one that smells dangerous. Dramatics aside this sounds like a cough remedy from the old country. Besides, Black Afgano already exists. It’s an EDP. And it’s BLACK.
*And there was already a perfume named Fame launched in the 1940’s by Corday.
So she still can’t come up with her own ideas. Next!
